Wayne Dyer once said that an act of kindness can raise the serotonin levels of the person giving and that of the person receiving. Not only that but someone witnessing the act of kindness can have their serotonin levels raised too. Serotonin of course is thought to be the “feel good” chemical in the body. It is apparently what pharmaceutical companies attempt to replicate with anti – depressants and such. TRY it (the generosity / kindness of course, not the anti-depressant).
