This is a photo of my sister and I. We haven’t seen each other for 6.5 years. Although we are both from South Africa, I now live in the USA and she lives in Australia. Today she headed back after being here for a week. It was so nice and it is amazing how with people you love, even though you have been apart for so long, when you get together it is like you have never been apart.
So I didn’t pull the shutter but set up the shot.

That’s a nice portrait. As you say, when you get together, it’s like you’ve never been apart. I’ve just had a similar experience with my twin sister. These bonds cannot be broken.
