To be honest, I am not sure I like this image. It is an HDR photo so colors really pop, otherwise wouldn’t have done it. Plus this is project 365 and I don’t always have a choice. So 1 photo is 2 stops overexposed, 1 photo at correct exposure and 1 photo 2 stops underexposed. So I get detail in shadows and highlights and that 2 seconds exposure just past magic hour captures all colors of the sky.
Unfortunately, this web image doesn’t do it justice either. The High res image is 14MB in size and when I minimize for web, you lose all the detail in the image, so becomes a little blurry. Those colors are real. There are bright red thorn bushes in this scene and the cluster of them in distance makes them look almost purple when mixed with light brown reeds.
